April 27^th, 2005

         My mommy flew in today. I hadn’t seen her since Christmas time. When I saw her come through the gate, I ran up to her and we just cried in each others arms. It felt so good to have her hold me again. Seeing her beautiful smile and feeling her energy was just what I needed. We went out to dinner and caught up on things. I just keep thinking about how good it was to have my mommy by my side again. She really is my best friend and understands me like nobody else. I am truly blessed to have her.
